Govert Jan Bach’s weekday programme about the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach. Episode 681. This week with Bach features many cantatas and sonatas. Today: two cantatas that Bach composed on the occasion of his audition for the Thomaskantor-vacancy in Leipzig on 7 February 1723.
In addition to that Sietze de Vries plays his version of the work of Dutchman Johann Adam Reincken, who was a big inspiration to Bach.
