On 22 May, Foundation Soundtrackcity presented again their first sound walk from 2009 with the title IJburg – nieuwe geschiedenissen – een vogelvluchtperspectief (IJburg – new histories – a bird’s-eye view), a soundscape made by Anne Wellmer, Jeanne van Heeswijk and Merel Willemse. Tonight in Cafe Sonore a compilation of this work and attention for a recent CD from Toondist, the distribution channel for the improvised music.

Titled ‘Chants de Printemps’, on 21 March 2006 there was a broadcast of Café Sonore on Dutch television that was a sort of tribute to the beautiful birdsong that breaks out annually in spring.
