In deze uitzending  van Wereldmineralen wordt de mbira van verschillende kanten belicht. Op het programma staan bijvoorbeeld mbira-groepen zoals Mbira Dze Narira en de Nyemako Mbira Crew, maar ook een buitenlandse band als Monoswezi. Grote namen als Dumisani Maraire en Ephat Mujuru, die de traditionele mbira-muziek naar de VS brachten, komen voorbij en natuurlijk Thomas Mapfumo, die de mbira-muziek op een internationaal podium bracht.
