Music for Leisure
In the series Couleur Vocale we recorded the concert of the Women’s choir Nordlys conducted by Ulrikke Reed Findenegg last year, with the programme “Mary’s Songs”.
Nordlys was founded in 2011 by its conductor. On the name of the choir she states: “the northern lights are a symbol for exotic beauty to me, which is scarse and seldomly seen. That’s also the criterion for the music in our programmes.
This is the tenth programme performed by the Women’s choir. This time it revolves around the woman and the female perspective on life.
Addition: Women’s choir Voces Caelestes from Nijmegen conducted by Hanneke van der Grinten.
