In memoriam Peter Eötvös, the conductor 1
Hungarian composer and conductor Peter Eötvös passed away on 24 March 2024. He was one of the most prominent and influential musicians of our time. In this and the next installment of ‘The last Century’, we reflect on Eötvös’s achievements as a conductor. Program maker Erik Voermans will soon focus on composer Eötvös in ‘Contemporary music’.
