The album Casa de la Trova is Santiago de Cuba’s answer to Havana’s Buena Vista Social Club! This vivacious music was created through the singers of the Trova zangers and the guitarists of Santiago de Cuba. This became the baseline of other Latin American styles.

Cuba! Guitar from Cuba.
In 1999, Havana-born guitarist Manuel Barrueco paid tribute to his homeland with the album Cuba! On this album, multiple guitar stars play classic Cuban pieces, including: Ernesto Lecuona; Hector Angulo and Leo Brouwer. The album has become legendary under the fans of classic Cuban guitar music.

La Habanera, The Piano of Ernesto Lecuona.
Ernesto Lecuona was a Cuban composer and pianist, who was known around the world. He composed over six hundred music pieces, mostly with a Cuban vibe, and was a extraordinaryly skilled pianist. He first studies classical music on the National Conservatoire of Havana. He then continued on as a concert pianist, with an active career on stage, in film and on the radio. Ernesto Lecuona loved to dance and composed a lot for Afro-Cuban conga, the Mazurka and mostly, the Waltz.
