In Memoriam James Bowman (1941-2023), Part 2. On March 27, 2023, the English countertenor James Bowman passed away. In three programs, we will be playing music that Bowman recorded. Today we will be listening to Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, which Bowman recorded with Emma Kirkby. We will begin with Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater.
