CDs of Quinteto Astor (Belgium), Gino Sitson (Cameroon), David and the Circumstances (The Netherlands).
1/ Quinteto Astor.
Five musician friends: passionate, self-willed and creative. Each with their own background and interests, from classical music, folklore, jazz and blues to rock. Quinteto Astor plays a broad repertoire of old and new tangos. They were inspired by great masters like Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Salgán. The quintet is always searching for a sound of its own: authentic and with appreciation for historical background but also groovy with a colour of its own.

3/ David and the Circumstances.
The Dutch singer-songwriter David Groeneweg writes songs about existential questions, light, darkness and the twilight in between. His lyrics float between the vague boundary of the ‘I’ and ‘the circumstances’, the river and the sea, perfection and imperfection. The sounds of guitar and piano support his poetic message.
