On 6 May 2016, the German trombonist Johannes Bauer (born 1954) passed away in Berlin. In memoriam, recordings of DoppelMoppel, a quartet with the guitar players Joe Sache and Uwe Kropinski, which was founded by him together with his brother trombonist Conrad Bauer in 1982. Further, recordings from 1993 of a duo concert with brother Conrad in Leipzig.
