Last episode of the season from Arti in Amsterdam!
Four colourful saxophonists. One sensitive pianist. Several enthusiastic musicians telling about their projects (Symphony in the Achterhoek (region in NL), Musicians without Borders, Splendor). Beautiful saxophone sounds, even though the audience seemed to appreciate a more ‘rustling’ jazz version as well.
The Amstel Quartet was in a summer mood, winked at the audience and Bas Apswoude even played barefoot. Just because he could.
Julia Hoorman played Rachmaninoff, the audience got carried away and held its breath.
Afterwards there was a toast. It was a nice season finale. Thank you for your enthusiasm and see you all in September.
