Series about and with Catalan gambist and conductor Jordi Savall. A repetition of episode 47: ‘Pro Pacem.’
On Friday 30th of August 2013 Jordi Savall will be visiting the Early Music Festival. Together with his ensembles Cappella Reial de Catalunya, Hespèrion XXI and Le Concert des Nations he will present the programme ‘War and peace: from the Union of Utrecht to Peace of Utrecht’.
Savall will also give an interview on this theme on August 29th.

One of Jordi Savall’s recent CD publications, "Pro Pacem: textes, art & musiques pour la paix" is accompanied by a book of about 1200 pages, in 8 languages, fully dedicated to the Peace.
The musical works on the CD originate from the 7th century until the 20th, from an early fragment from the Koran until a composed "Da Pacem", especially composed for Jordi Savall by Arvo Pärt in 2004.
On top of that, the CD contains works of Savall.
