Series about and with Catalan gambist and conductor Jordi Savall. Episode 50: new release of Jordi Savall’s ‘Erasmus’, part 3. And furthermore fragments of the interview with Savall.
In February 2013 Savall visited our country to present his latest project ‘Erasmus of Rotterdam, Éloge de la Folie’ to the Dutch public. The project is a combination of music and text, fully dedicated to the life of Erasmus of Rotterdam, also known as the Prince of humanists.
Savall again succeeded in publishing an impressive CD booklet, this time containing 6 CDs. In the third and last episode you can hear a selection of the sixth CD.
During the broadcast, Jordi Savall explains his project in several interview fragments. Walter Huijten, eployee at Concertzender, spoke with Savall when he was in the Netherlands in February 2013.
