Jazz, blues and nostalgia.
At 20.00 hour there will be another carefee journey through time at the Palace of Nostalgia. Featuring jazz from Herb Jeffries, Sarah Vaughan, Clifford Brown and Harry James, comedy from
vocal artist and parodist Stan Freberg (picture), who will take a jibe at television; the nostalgic sounds from the twenties brought to you by the Atlantic Dance Orchestra featuring music that was inspired by ‘intruder’ Harold Lloyd, the Metropole Orchestra with music by the French composer & conductor Roger Roger, also from France, singer and actor Tino Rossi and a lovely song to dream away with from 1924: ‘Amapola.’
