In this series we look at the evolution of opera from 1900 to today. In this ninth episode, the highlights of 1908. This is a somewhat slow year for the opera scene. There were however some peculiarities, including the first Muslim opera and the premieres of Ariane and Barbe Bleu by Paul Dukas.
