Pianist / composer François Raulin (1956) was introduced to jazz via French reed player Louis Sclavis, in whose groups he played from 1987 to 2001. During that time, Raulin also met saxophone player François Corneloup and bass player Bruno Chevillon, with whom he formed a trio. They were influenced by the music of Jimmy Guiffre Trio from the 50s and 60s.
