“STOP MAKING CENTS” is a play on words inspired by the 1984 film “TAKING HEADS,” originally titled “STOP MAKING SENSE.” The alteration of “SENSE” to “CENTS” reflects a critique of prioritizing financial gain over ethical and cultural values. Enemies of music and culture.
