HankMobley
Hank Mobley was an American hard bop and soul jazz tenor saxophonist and composer. The recordings from 1957 are from the CD ‘Poppin’ released on the Blue Note label TOCJ-1620 and the recordings from 1961 are from the CD ‘Workout’ released on the Blue Note label 0777 7 84080 2 4. The albums feature a lineup of talented musicians, including Philly Joe Jones, Wilbur Ware, Art Farmer, Pepper Adams, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, Grant Green, and Wynton Kelly.
