Tenor saxophone player and composer Benny Golson (1929), part 7. In this final episode we will hear him ‘live’ during a performance at the London Ronnie Scott’s Club in 1965. He was ranting in an unprecedented free style. So it turns out that concert recordings deliver more adventure than studio recording however good they may be. The accompaniment was taken care of by the trio of English piano player Stan Tracey.
