Een nieuw jaar. We gaan weer op weg en openen deze jaargang met liedjes over ‘the road’. Soms letterlijk een weg, geplaveid, wonderschoon of met behoorlijke hobbels. Soms als metafoor voor een levenspad, een verlangen of voornemen. Dan weer als strijd of een aanduiding voor een werkplek. In 16 tracks volgen we de verschillende wegen, die in dit geval allen naar muziek leiden. Met onder meer Andy Irvine, Ewan Maccoll, The Chieftains met The Rolling Stones, Ossian, Spirogyra, Nick Drake, Maddy Prior, Karine Polwart e.a.
We beloven niet te verdwalen en volgende maand terug te keren op ‘straat niveau’.
