Early Delights, an hour of early music on Sunday. Special delights from the Middle Ages up and to High Baroque. This time English baroque music by musicians who will perform during the Early Music Festival 2015.
This edition of the Festival is called ‘England, my England’, and will search for the English soul. We will hear Tudor-polyphony, virginalists, consorts, religious and theatre music by Purcell, and music by lesser known colleagues of Händel.
