An educational programme featuring early music. On 27 August 1621, the composer Josquin des Prez died in Condé-sur-l’Escaut in Hainaut. This year marks the 500th anniversary of his death. We will commemorate this with a seven-part series on his life and works. Today’s episode is the fourth part. In this part, we will be listening to two early masses by Josquin.
