Documento

A new programme with early music: Just as thematic as Entrata or Theme, but more educational. The upcoming two episodes we dwell on Ensaladas! Part 1: Spain, 15th and 16th centuries.

An Ensalada, a ‘salad’ of all sorts of music styles, was released in Spain in the 15th century. A single piece of music contained a range of composed melodies, folk songs and languages. In the upcoming two Documento programmes you can hear Ensaladas from the 15th and 16th centuries by Mateo Flecha, Sebastiaan Aguilera Heredia, Juan Vásquez and Juan del Encina.
