An educational programme featuring early music. The recently restored baroque organ by the Franciscaner Trinitatis – trinity church – in Gdansk contains a special Rückpositiv choir organ.
Special attention for the restored baroque organ of the Franciscaner Trinitatis – trinity church – in Gdansk, a magnificent church from 1420.
You can hear recordings by the recently restored Rückpositiv choir organ. This instrument is a part of the pipe organ, but is played via it’s own keyboard.
It is expected that the restoration will be completed in 2016 and then Europe will have a new historical baroque organ to enjoy.
In this programme, recordings of this unique instrument in solo compositions and in combination with other instruments.
