St. Patricks Day!
Op 17 maart vieren de Ieren feest. Overal ter wereld worden optochten georganiseerd en wordt er gedanst en gezongen, ter ere van Saint Patrick, de beschermheilige die Ierland kerstende en de slangen (druïden) de zee in joeg. De liederen die op straat en in de kroegen klinken, zijn vaak echter alles behalve christelijk. Integendeel: jong en oud brult mee met de refreinen van populaire Ierse traditionals.
