Internationaal Lied Festival Zeist
Interview with the mezzo-soprano Cécile van de Sant. As artistic advisor of the Association of Friends of the Art Song, she is closely involved with the International Lied Festival in Zeist, which starts on Friday, May 12. One of the components is the annual Day of the Art Song on May 13, with performances by established art song singers and pianists, as well as young musicians. There will be two recitals, a lecture, a round table discussion, and a masterclass for students at the Conservatory of Maastricht and the LiedLab.

A special photo exhibition is on display at the Memorial Center Camp Westerbork. Photographer Rudolf Breslauer took a large number of photos on behalf of camp commander Gemmeker during the two and a half years he was imprisoned in the camp with his family. These are photos of sheep on the heath, bird nests with eggs, and farmers harvesting hay. It can still be seen until May 7th.. Kamp Westerbork Herinneringscentrum
