A) Baroque Delicacies from Dijon: Bourgeois, Cappus, Bousset
The mission by the French harpsichordist and conductor Patrick Ayrton is to dig into repertoire and ignored musical masters. During the Festival Early Music of 2018 he focussed on Dijon at the time of Rameau, with his cantata ‘Thétis’ as main work. In the concert the cantata ‘Phèdre et Hypolitte’ by Thomas-Louis Bourgeois, a suite by Cappus and a shepherds poem by Drouard de Bousset also sounded.
