Adventurous Music Festival ‘Reflections’ 2010
Recording of the concert on 9 September 2010. This was the opening concert of international music festival ‘Reflections 2010’, which took place at the church of Zuiderwoude on 9 September. The title of the concert was ‘Music without borders’ and was dedicated to and in cooperation with ‘Musicians without Borders’, the organisation that contributes to a culture of reconciliation and peace in conflict areas worldwide by means of music projects.
Herman van Veen opened the concert with instrumental sounds and a few songs.

Next up was a performance of the Dutch Wind Instruments Ensemble, consisting of Bart Schneemann, hobo. Jeanette Landre, flute. Dorian Cooke, bassoon. Willem van Merwijk, saxophone. Wilmar de Visser, contrabass. Peter Prommel, percussion.
They performed with ‘world musicians’ Haytham Safia, U’d. Droeh Nankoe, vocals and Vasile Nedea, cymbalon and accordion.
