Part 2 of 5 programmes about Marie Laforêt who will celebrate her 80th birthday this autumn.
With “Il a neigé sur yesterday” Marie Laforêt had a small hit in the Netherlands. It was a nostalgic song, commemorating the Beatles era, which, by the end of the 70s, seemed already a long time ago. The Top 40 was not really her cup of tea; she would rather sing Latin American songs or dedicate herself to the beautiful artistic whims of André Popp. Tonight, you will hear recordings of her from the period between 1971 up to 1933, when she recorded her last album Reconnaissances.
