De Engelse componist Anthony Gilbert (1934-2023) werd in hetzelfde jaar geboren als Harrison Birtwistle en Peter Maxwell Davies, maar werd nooit zo beroemd als deze twee collega’s. Is dat terecht? Oordeel zelf.
