Episode 1269. In this new Bachweek, we continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the late summer and autumn of 1724. Kicking off this segment is the cantata “Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan” II, BWV 99, which Bach wrote for the 15th Sunday after Trinity on 17 September 1724.
