Episode 1254. In this new Bachweek, we continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the summer of 1724, almost precisely 300 years ago. Kicking off this segment is the cantata “Nimm von uns, Herr, du treuer Gott” BWV 101, which Bach wrote for the 10th Sunday after Trinity on August 13, 1724.
