Artists who stretched the possibilities within (and sometimes outside) Turkish music genres. Furthermore, you hear Gökçen Kaynatan; He was one of the first to use electric guitars in the Turkish rock’n’roll scene of the 1950s and 1960s. We also play the Turkish Rock Icon, Baris Manço and Nekropsi.

Beside Mimaroğlu, there have been many other artists who used the liberties of jazz music while playing traditional instruments. A few examples: Hüseyin Ertunç and the drummer Okay Temiz. Nowadays, ensemble Konstrukt from Istanbul is world famous in the improvisation scene. This band, together with the Turkish jazz veterans Okay Temiz and Hüseyin Ertunç, can be heard in the Etnik Ensamble
