In a number of episodes of Orgelwerk we’re going to cover the recently deceased Fries organist Liuwe Tamminga. On Thursday 8th July you can hear excerpts from the concerts he played in the Netherlands.
The first recording is a very special one: Tamminga is playing a copy of a 15th century Italian organ, built by the Groningen organ builder Winold van der Putten.
In further episodes of Orgelwerk (on 12th August and 9th September) we’ll be playing excerpts fom the numerous cd’s he made.
