During Holy Week, Bach’s Passions can be heard everywhere in the Netherlands. The Concertzender also features the St. John Passion and the St. Matthew Passion in our Bach programme Bach ad Infinitum.
On Monday 25 March and Tuesday 26 March we broadcast a performance of the St John Passion by the Swiss ensemble J.S. Bach-Stiftung conducted by Rudolf Lutz.
This is followed on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March by a broadcast of a performance of the St. Matthew Passion by the French Ensemble Pygmalion conducted by Raphael Pichon.
