Our guest in Acoustic Roots on Friday 20 January at 21:00 CET is singer and violinist Anne Bakker. Anne writes her own music that she will be performing solo on the viola.
Recently Anne toured Brazil, Europe and Dubai with Blaze Baily, a former vocalist with Iron Maiden.
She also plays Turkish music in the Göksel Yilmaz Ensemble and recently released a new CD Kan Zaman with this group. She has also toured in the Netherlands and Indonesia together with the Göksel Yilmaz Ensemble and the Internationale Danstheater in the production Silk.
