Listeners to the Concertzender can buy discount tickets for the concert by the countertenor Philippe Jaroussky on Saturday November 11 in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Under the title ‘Forgotten Arias’, the world-famous French countertenor Philippe Jaroussky will give a one-off performance on Saturday afternoon (15:00) on November 11th 2023 in the Main Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
As the title indicates, he sings beautiful but now forgotten arias by various well-known and lesser-known baroque composers including Johann Adolf Hasse, Johann Christian Bach and Michelangelo Valentini. Jaroussky is accompanied during the concert by the baroque ensemble Le Concert de la Loge led by Julien Chauvin.
This concert is part of Jaroussky’s European tour to promote his new CD that is also titled ‘Forgotten Arias’.
