Music from the 13th and 14th centuries. In this episode, we hear the complete “Messe de Nostre Dame” by Guillaume de Machaut, which was performed during the Early Music Festival. This mass is now performed by Ensemble Musica Nova. We will also hear songs from the medieval collection ‘Carmina Burana’.
