Western religious music from different centuries. Knisperende Kerst by Combattimento and Wishful Singing.
Combattimento and Wishful Singing: a fizzing combination for a sparkling Christmas concert.
You will hear them together through charming Christmas music by Charpentier of French Baroque. The Concerto fatto per il Notte di Natal, or the Christmas Concert of Arcangelo Corell is obviously included.
The voices of Wishful Singing sound heavenly in a few a Capella adaptations of well-known Christmas melodies. With strings and baroque trumpet we will leave you feeling divine with a Sinfonia by Bach.
To bring you joyfully back to earth: the rejoicing vocals and festive trumpet sounds of the famous Gloria of Antonio Vivaldi. This is what Christmas sounds like at Combattimento!
