Utopia, of de wereld op z’n kop
The Tudor-composer Robert Fayrfax and philosopher Thomas More had the same social criticism and future dreams. Fayrfax wrote innovative music, More created a paper Utopia and ended behind bars.
Servir Antico tell the story of their soul’s journey between dream and raw reality.

Clavier-Übung
On Sunday 27th August 2017 the French harpischordist/organist Benjamin Alard played his second festival concert with the whole Clavier-Übung by Johann Sebastian Bach.
He played this concert on a Flemish harpischord with two manuals.
In the French overture and the Italians concerto from Clavier-Übung II the double keyboard creates what is essentially orchestral music, convincing even on one instrument .
And from Clavier-Übung III Benjamin Alard plays the two manual setting of the choral prelude “Allein gott in der Höh sei Ehr”.
